Goldfrapp announced their new single ‘Rocket’ to be released through March 9th 2010. Fizzy with inspiration, ‘Rocket’ is is taken from the duo’s fifth album ‘Head First’, released on March.
‘Rocket’ ‘is written and produced by band mates Alison Goldfrapp and Will Gregory and comes complete with new mixes by Richard X, Penguin Prison and Grum, and Tiësto, and is accompanied by a fabulous video directed by Kim Gehrig (Calvin Harris, Primal Scream, Santogold).
We’ll see if this is another great alternative rock remix from Tiësto!

This performance is a part of the Kaleidoscope South American Tour. His next performance are at Mix Garden in Belo Horizonte and Rio Centro in Rio de Janeiro.

Black Eyed Peas star will.iam, Tiësto and Groove Armada have been confirmed to headline the Ultra Music Festival in Miami.
Deadmau5, Carl Cox and Passion Pit will also perform at the electronic music event, which takes place on March 26 and 27.
Tickets for the festival, which will close out the 25th annual Winter Music Conference, are $139.95 (£85) for two-day general admission and $350 (£216) for two-day VIP admission.
Further acts confirmed include A-Trak, Plump DJs, Felix da Housecat, Crookers, ATB, DIplo and Faithless Sound System.
More names will be announced in the coming weeks.

Tiësto has signed a deal with independent music publisher Kobalt.
Kobalt will represent the award-winning DJ globally through an administration and creatives ervices deal with the artist’s After Midnight Productions / Musical Freedom Publishing.
In signing with the company the Dutch DJ joins other global artists like Gwen Stefani, Kelly Clarkson and Busta Rhymes.
Kobalt founder and CEO Willard Ahdritz says, “We are extremely excited to have signed superstar artist and DJ, Tiësto. Besides synch and transparent, online administration services, our senior vice president of creative Benjamin Groff will work along with our A&R team in developing collaborative opportunities for Tiësto.”
The deal includes all future releases by the artist, including his recent album Kaleidoscope, released last October.
